We're looking for Field Agents to join our property management team in Seattle! You will play a vital role in supporting the operations and ensuring positive resident experiences across our portfolio of properties. This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, approximately 8:30am - 5:30pm. Field Agents will travel between the office (located near Fremont in Seattle) and properties throughout the greater Seattle area through the day. Due to the nature of the work and variable tasks, this position is not suitable for work from home. A reliable personal vehicle and valid WA driver license are required.
The Role
The Field Agent role is hands-on and involves a wide range of tasks supporting our property operations, both from the office and in the field. Field Agents can expect to do things such as meeting vendors on-site, conducting property inspections, dropping off and picking up materials, ensuring apartments are ready for move-in, and supporting resident communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
First and foremost, the Field Agent will provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Property Management team with resident communication, renewals, posting notices, property inspections and access, vendor coordination, portfolio administration, and special projects.
- Meet and accompany vendors at properties.
- Respond promptly to service requests and schedule necessary work to be completed.
- Conduct file, parking, storage, key, insurance, and bike audits.
- Monitor and replace signage and supplies at properties as-needed.
- Ensure apartments are ready for residents prior to move-in date, including coordinating any maintenance and cleaning needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete resident files in accordance with company policy.
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local fair housing laws.
- Foster a safe & healthy work environment, including reporting unsafe conditions and following protocol to prevent accidents/injuries.
- Adhere to and embrace company policies and values.
- Assist team with tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates are self-motivated, good communicators, and adaptable. Beyond that, we're looking for:
- Valid driver's license & access to reliable and insured personal vehicle - only applicants who drive and have a vehicle can be considered
- Be able to make appointments on-time - this position requires daily travel between various property sites in the greater Seattle metropolitan area (mileage is reimbursed)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, retail, admin, or driving roles
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy with ability to use MS Office Suite, including email and scheduling software
- Must have a smart phone with data plan and be willing to download and use professional apps
- Organized and able to adapt to a fast-paced job and situational changes.
- Great time management, including prioritization and communication skills.
- Capacity to remain calm in intense situations.
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism and give appropriate feedback.
- Ability to understand and follow federal, state, and local fair housing laws
- Prior property management experience preferred
- Self-motivated and adaptable
Compensation & Benefits
- $21-22/hour, depending on experience

Additional Information
- This position will cover a portfolio of properties located throughout the greater Seattle metro area, between Everett and Tacoma. Agents typically focus on a smaller geographic area within our full portfolio, but daily travel between locations is required.
- Schedule: this is a full-time position working business hours Monday - Friday.
- Work Environment: Both onsite work in our Seattle office and in the field at managed properties is required. This position is roughly 30-40% in the office and 70-60% in the field (subject to change).
